REHABILITATIVE SERVICES
St. Bernards Rehabilitative Services offers transitional inpatient and outpatient rehab servicesranging from physical and occupational therapy to sports and industrial rehabilitation. Highly trained therapists work with patients in the Hospital as well as in outpatient clinics located at a half dozen off-campus sites. The goal of all therapy disciplines—physical, occupational and speech—is to return patients to normal, productive lives. Services now include a specialized Sports Medicine program which ranges from injury management and rehabilitation to sport-specific performance enhancement training.
Acute Care Rehabilitation Services
870-972-4309
St. Bernards Inpatient Rehab Services Department provides physical, occupational and speech therapy to patients in the hospital.
Our therapists work with physicians and nurses to evaluate and treat patients with diagnoses such as cardiac disease, pulmonary disease, stroke, orthopedic injuries, total joint replacements, neurological problems and other health problems that interfere with the patient’s ability to function in everyday life. Individualized programs are established to facilitate the maximum functional potential possible in the acute care setting and to determine the need for continued rehabilitation services in the most appropriate setting—inpatient rehab, home health or outpatient rehab.
TRANSITIONAL CARE FACILITY
870-972-4309
St. Bernards Inpatient Rehab Services Department provides physical, occupational and speech therapy to patients in the Transitional Care Facility at the medical center. Our therapists treat patients who no longer require acute medical management but instead require continued multidisciplinary rehabilitation and are not yet able to function in their home setting.
HOME HEALTH
870-972-8816
St. Bernards Home Health offers physical, occupational and speech therapy. Our therapists provide services to home-bound patients within a 50-mile radius of Jonesboro. Services are provided by a team of therapists committed to delivering the best possible care to facilitate the maximum rehab potential in the home setting. When patients no longer are home bound, those requiring additional therapy are transferred to an outpatient facility to continue rehabilitation.
